CIBT Establishes Teachers Training Center in An Yang City, Henan Province
Capital Alliance Group Inc. (TSX-V: CPT) reports that its subsidiary, CIBT School of Business & Technology Corp. (“CIBT”), announces the establishment of the International Education Exchange Center (“IEEC”) in collaboration with the An Yang Education Information and Technology Center, a department of the An Yang Education Bureau, in An Yang City, Henan Province, China .
The IEEC will be the starting ground for CIBT’s Train-The-Teachers initiative and will commence operations by providing English training programs to new and existing English teachers from all schools in Henan province. In addition, the IEEC will provide ancillary student services such as information dissemination pertaining to programs and entrance requirements of overseas universities and to programs and entrance requirements of overseas-based education programs offered by local colleges. The IEEC will serve to introduce students to all type of programs offered by CIBT at the Beijing, Zhengzhou and Weifang campuses. The establishment of the IEEC reinforces CIBT’s expansion strategy in providing teachers’ training programs and the promotion of CIBT’s courses to students residing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. The IEEC will become a CIBT campus offering CIBT courses in the future. This will become the ninth teaching location for CIBT in China including owned and affiliated locations.
