CIBT Reports Completion of Second Tranche of Private Placement
March 10, 2017, Vancouver, BC: CIBT Education Group Inc. (“CIBT”) (TSX: MBA, OTCQX International: MBAIF) reports that it has closed the second tranche of a private placement, raising approximately $861,000 by the issuance of 1,434,999 units at a price of $0.60 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of one share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant entitling the holder to purchase one common share for a period of two years at a price of $0.75. In aggregate, a total of approximately $2.2 million has been raised in the two tranches of this private placement. The net proceeds are intended to be used to provide a fund for school acquisition and expansion. The securities issued in this private placement are subject to a four month hold period.
