Global Education Communities Corp. Reports Second Tranche Closing of Non-Brokered Private Placement
Vancouver, B.C., September 27, 2024 – Global Education Communities Corp (“GECC” or the “Company”) (TSX: GEC, OTCQX International: GECSF) is pleased to report that it has today closed the second and final tranche of the non-brokered private placement of convertible debentures announced on August 27, 2024 (the “Financing”). Total gross proceeds of $1,505,000 were raised in the Financing, $100,000 of which was raised in the second tranche. The debentures and any common shares issued upon conversion of the debentures issued in the second tranche are subject to a hold period expiring January 27, 2025. The Financing remains subject to final approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
